SAFETY IS A JOINT RESPONSIBILITY

Please read the safety rules outlined herein.  If you have any questions, we will be happy to discuss them with you.  We are required to notify you of these rules, to ensure that water rescue equipment is at the pool area and that swimming area is maintained in a sanitary manner.  If you notice any problem with the water quality or absence of water rescue equipment, please notify management at once 518-432-9705. This pool safety plan can be printed off the Crystal Pond website.

After you have read it, print it out and please sign the tear-off section provided and return to management.

YOUR SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO US

It will be the responsibility of all unit owners to advise their present and future tenants of the rules and regulations and proof of tenants acknowledgment must be provided to management by separate sign-off as that required by homeowners.  Extra Safety Rule brochures for signature by Tenants will be provided upon request.

2022 POOL SAFETY RULES

  • NEVER SWIM ALONE. A minimum of two adults, 18 years of age or older, must be present whenever this facility is in use.
  • THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ADEQUATE SUPERVISION. A parent or guardian must accompany children under 18 years of age.
  • IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, NOTIFY THE FACILITY OPERATOR AND CONTACT HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. A free telephone is provided at this facility.  Telephone numbers for the nearest medical service are posted.
  • Only use this facility during posted hours of operation.
  • Do not drink alcoholic beverages and swim.
  • Non-swimmers and weak swimmers should not go in water that is more than chest deep.  The ability to maintain stable footing (due to the body’s natural buoyancy) and to keep your face out of water is affected in deep water.
  • Inflatable floatation devices, such as rafts, “swimmies” and other toys can pose a serious safety hazard.  Such devices are not designed to act as life preservers; they often can tip over or deflate.  Non-swimmers may have a false of sense of security and go into water too deep for their swimming ability.
  • Diving or Jumping into the pool is prohibited.
  • Do not swim if there is threat of lightning, thunderstorms, heavy rains and hail storms or fog resulting in reduced visibility.
